Having been in the real estate industry since 1996, the one thing that has remained constant is change. Recently we have all heard numerous news reports about the housing market this or the housing market that, the truth is that the housing market is in a constant state of change. The one thing that has proven to be most relevant is the need to stay abreast of the ever changing market through continuing education.

With the recent correction in the market and due to the fact that a large percentage of all real estate transactions in the Greater Atlanta market involve either a foreclosure or a short sale property, the decision was made to focus my educational efforts on two specific designations, the CDPE and SFR. Having now earned the CDPE, Certified Distressed Property Expert, and the SFR, Short Sale and Foreclosure Resource, and by combining this training with experience in short sale and foreclosure transactions in the past, I am now better prepared to assist both buyers and sellers of distressed properties. My understanding of the process has helped numerous homeowners avoid foreclosure.
